IOH Health’s Wollongong Clinic is approved to complete NSW Coal Mine Worker Medicals under Order 43 and also has doctors approved as AMA and EMO in the QLD Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme.

Order 43 requires that coal mine workers complete their pre-placement medical assessment prior to commencing work in a coal operation, then periodic medical assessment every three years from the coal worker’s pre-placement medical assessment. Employers must also offer Exit Medicals to their workers.

IOH Health will refer you for an approved chest x-ray (ILO Standard) if required.

The required Respirator Fit Test can be provided as part of your medical at our Wollongong Clinic.
