Sometimes life can be overwhelming. Our team of highly trained psychologists can help you get on the right path and cope with life’s challenges with evidence-based support and treatment.
Our psychologists take the time to understand the unique needs of each person seeking support and use proven strategies to help you understand the way you think, feel and cope. Your psychologist will identify the appropriate interventions to help you overcome difficulties, work to change your behaviour and improve your mental health. You will be empowered to take control of your mental health, understand yourself better and receiving a range of practical strategies you can use in your everyday life.
Our psychology team are available for in-person sessions across our Wollongong, Nowra, Penrith, Ashfield, Parramatta and Ingleburn clinics, as well as online via video or over the phone. Our psychologists provide services to adolescents and adults seeking support privately as well as referrals from a range of funding schemes including Medicare, Private Health, NDIS, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Victims Services, BUPA Defence, Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Workers Compensation, Comcare and CTP.

Psychological Services are also offered to the NDIS participants focused on achieving functional goals and to workers and employers under Workplace Health.
Dr Rebecca Deloraine (PhD)

Available in clinic in Wollongong or via Telehealth
Rebecca is a Clinical Psychologist and the IOH Psychology Department Manager and has recently completed her PhD studies.
Rebecca has experience working with adults in a variety of therapeutic settings including community and vocational rehabilitation, public and private hospitals, veterans services and private practice.
Rebecca is passionate about supporting people in improving their health and wellbeing, particularly those experiencing chronic pain or life limiting illnesses, trauma, veterans or current defence/emergency service personnel, substance use and addiction difficulties, mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, and personality disorders.
Alongside a motivating, warm and empowering therapeutic relationship she uses a range of evidence based psychological practises tailored to the needs of each individual.
In addition to her clinical work, Rebecca lectures in the Drug and Alcohol field and is a Psychology Board Approved Supervisor.
Daniel Billingham

Daniel is a Registered Psychologist and provides experienced guidance and support as an IOH Psychology Team Manager.
Daniel has experience working in various roles throughout the Illawarra/Shoalhaven region for over 15 years including Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs, Private Practice and Tertiary Education Institutes and currently coordinates and delivers Employee Assistance Programs both domestically and internationally.
Daniel possesses a wealth of knowledge in the assessment and treatment of various psychological concerns, including anxiety, phobias, depression/mood disorders, bipolar disorders, addictions, as well as issues related to tertiary education and the workplace. As a clinician, Daniel believes in tailoring therapy to your individual needs, recognising that no two journeys are the same. With an approach grounded in evidence-based practices, Daniel primarily utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which allows you to identify and modify unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. Additionally, he incorporates other therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Interpersonal Therapy, adapting his strategies to suit the specific goals and preferences of his clients.
Elyse Spithill

Elyse is a Clinical Psychologist experienced working with children, adolescents, families and adults in a variety of therapeutic settings including public health hospitals, veterans’ services and private practice.
Elyse is passionate about supporting people in improving their health and wellbeing, particularly those experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit-hyperactivity disorder, trauma, chronic pain or life limiting illnesses, veterans or current defence/emergency service personnel, substance use and addiction difficulties as well as grief and life transitions. Elyse is experienced in working several different evidence-based frameworks including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Relapse Prevention, Motivational Interviewing and ACT treatments and mindfulness-based approaches.
Elyse seeks to ensure a meaningful rapport is established with her clients. She holds a soft and empathetic therapeutic approach when working with clients using a range of evidence based psychological practises tailored to the needs of each individual.
Laurelle Morgan

Laurelle is a Registered Psychologist committed to delivery evidence based interventions. Laurelle is passionate in equipping her clients with the skills to manage their mental health and deal with the challenges life may throw their way.

Dominique Cassanego

Dominique is a Registered Psychologist who is passionate about improving individuals’ overall health and well-being, particularly those experiencing complex chronic pain and medical conditions, injury adjustment, anxiety, depression, trauma and sleep disturbances.
Dominique has a particular interest in working with frontline emergency service workers, and veterans and those suffering complex psychological and physical workplace injuries.
Dominique’s main focus is to take a whole of person approach to not only address the underlying condition/diagnosis but to also support individuals overall physical well-being using a variety of evidence based psychological practices.
Elyce Cowling

Available in clinic in Penrith, Parramatta and Ashfield or via Telehealth
Elyce is a Registered Psychologist works collaboratively with her clients; and prides herself on opening up a safe space that her clients can feel comfortable in. Elyce is compassionate, understanding and non-judgemental. Elyce works with adolescents, families and adults.
Elyce demonstrates cultural awareness with her clients. She likes to invite her clients into an empathetic and non-judgemental safe space and is able to see the impact many factors have on the psychosocial emotional wellbeing of her clients. Elyce has a passion for the social and emotional wellbeing of our First Nations peoples and an interest in working with people with disabilities.
Elyce uses a range of techniques to provide quality care and support to those who need it, in a way that helps the patient build their own skillset to allow them to better self-manage outside of a session.
Jacqueline Bell
Available in clinic in Nowra or via Telehealth
Jacqueline is a Provisional Psychologist who has experience working with adults, children, and adolescents within a variety of therapeutic settings including Occupational Rehabilitation, onsite EAP service provision, provision of therapy through primary health network funded programs and private practice.
Jacqueline is passionate about empowering people to improve cognitive flexibility and psychological functioning to deal with a range of mental health concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, addiction, grief, life transitions, somatic symptom disorders, and interpersonal issues. Jacqueline is experienced in working in several different evidence-based frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Imagery Rehearsal Therapy (IRT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based approaches.
Jacqueline seeks to provide a warm, meaningful and engaging therapeutic relationship integrated with applied evidence-based practice personalised to the needs of the person.
Tori Cappadona
Tori is a Registered Psychologist committed to providing an evidence based and person centred approach to all of her clients. Tori is passionate in supporting individuals to feel safe to explore and learn strategies to assist in day to day wellbeing.
Tori has experience working with adolescents and adults in a range of therapeutic settings including EAP, NDIS, Mental Health Care Plans and Workers Compensation.
She is passionate about supporting people presenting with Anxiety, Depression, Neurodivergence, Adjustment Disorder, workplace injuries and interpersonal conflict. Additionally, Tori has extensive experience working alongside and supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Tori utilises different treatment modalities based on what is in the best interest of the client, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) mindfulness, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), motivational interview, and vocational counselling.
