IOH Health is committed to supporting a community where everyone is helped to achieve their potential. We partner with charities where our contribution can make a noticable difference to the services they provide.

NSW Police Legacy

NSW Police Legacy provide care and ongoing support to the families of police officers who have suffered a loss. IOH have been a supporter of their annual Remembrance Ride since 2023.

Every day police officers make sacrifices for the community and this is our small part to recognise that sacrifice and support the NSW police family to take care of its own in times of need.

Scott Morton, one of our brilliant Employment Coaches, is not only our team ride captain ensuring we have some ride fitness and don’t embarass ourselves, but must be commended for his direct contribution in helping young Legatees find employment and continue their journey with the continual support of NSW Police Legacy.

Why we support and ride with our Police.

The NSW Police Legacy Remembrance Ride is an annual cycling event that honours fallen NSW Police officers. Riders include serving and retired police, families, and supporters who come together to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

The ride travels from the Art Gallery of NSW in Sydney through various communities over 3 days to arrive at the National Police Memorial in Canberra to pay tribute to fallen officers. It’s a moving journey that builds connection, raises awareness, and highlights the ongoing support NSW Police Legacy provides.

Funds raised go directly to helping the families of deceased officers, ensuring they remain supported and connected to the police family.

One Door Mental Health Illawarra

IOH Health is proud to support the One Door Mental Health Clubhouse in the Illawarra—a vital community space that provides connection, purpose, and hope for people living with mental illness. The Clubhouse model is founded on the belief that every person has strengths and talents to contribute, and IOH recognises the importance of environments that empower individuals to rebuild confidence and lead fulfilling lives.

The Clubhouse aligns with our mission to help people realise and achieve their potential for life, work, and play. In a sector often challenged by fluctuating funding, IOH’s support helps ensure the Clubhouse remains a stable and welcoming space for its members.

Our partnership with One Door reflects IOH’s commitment to community-based mental health care. The Clubhouse model has not only reduced reliance on acute mental health services by its members, but also created a space where individuals can grow socially, emotionally, and vocationally.
