IOH’s ability to effectively manage workplace injuries is greatly enhanced by the provision of services at our onsite Physiotherapy department. This allows for immediate treatment to be provided following a workplace injury and assessment by the IOH Medical Service doctors. Our team is the preferred clinic for multiple local doctors who require treatment for their patients by physiotherapists specifically experienced in managing workplace injuries.
Our physiotherapy team also works with private patients (Personal Health) and we have physiotherapists experienced in helping NDIS participants with their goals (Disability Services). Our physiotherapists are also experienced in the treatment and management of a variety of sporting injuries, enabling you to get back to performing at your peak faster.
Our experience in workplace injuries ensures a continuous focus on functional capacity and how this aligns to increases in work capacity. This can be quickly communicated to doctors to allow informed decisions on increasing a worker’s certified capacity.
Professional physical treatment and rehabilitation programs minimise recovery times and thus the time lost due to injury. Our physiotherapy professionals have many strategies and resources available to help clients deal with pain and to regain mobility, strength and endurance related to their work activities.
