Psychological work related injuries are on the rise. The Preventing Psychological Injury at Work training session assists Managers and Supervisors to identify signs and understand appropriate actions they can take to effectively manage and improve psychological wellbeing in the workplace. This training is delivered by a registered Psychologist with over 20 years of experience.

Preventing Psychological Injury at Work Course Details

  • Understand the incidence and types of psychological health issues at work
  • Recognise signs of psychological stress
  • The Supervisor’s role in intervening – crucial conversations with the employee
  • Take a risk management approach to worker wellbeing
  • Appropriate responses to issues work/non work related
  • What to do when someone is too ill to be at work
  • What to do when someone is suicidal

Delivery

Training is delivered face to face.

This course can be customised to meet your specific workplace needs and is able to be delivered at IOH or on-site at your workplace. Please call to arrange a suitable training time.
